I.CALL TO ORDER

II. LEGISLATIVE PROPOSALS FOR DISCUSSION
The following items will be discussed by the Legislative Engagement Committee, with comments to be provided by the public, for consideration for submission to the Waikīkī Neighborhood Board for action.
a. Legislation regulating busking activities on public sidewalks within the Waikīkī Special District
b. Legislation revisiting the billboard law and its adaptation to new technologies
c. Legislation addressing the sit-lie exception for individuals in wheelchairs and its impact on loitering
d. Legislation addressing street peddlers
e. Legislation prohibiting dumping trash and fishing in the Ala Wai Canal
f. Legislation prohibiting shopping carts outside commercial stores and homeless moving large quantities of trash on sidewalks and promenades
g. Legislation increasing the Floor to Area Ratio (FAR) for Waikīkī
h. Legislation imposing an additional residential tax tier for properties valued above $10 million at a marginal rate of 1.5%
i. Legislation amending the requirement for recipients of low-income rental housing exemptions to limit rents to 20% of gross income

III. PROPOSALS NOT COVERED ON THE AGENDA
Discussion on these items may be limited to 2 minutes each and will be considered for inclusion on the agenda of a future meeting
